JONA® MODIKYD PU

JONA® MODIKYD PU is the high gloss finish coating based urethane modified Alkyd resin. It is used as a multi-purpose coating for finishing surfaces in industrial and mechanic fields, and surfaces of vessel sections which are effected of sea water and sea weather.

Surface material: The practiced surface should be clear, dry and free from oil and grease.

Features Good adhesion, hard film, durability. Excellent resistance to sea water and sea weather. Standing impact and abrasion well.

JONA® PU (A)

JONA® PU is the two-component polyurethane finish solidified by Polyisocyanate. It is used for protecting and decorating appropriately processed surfaces which have the long-term exterior using purpose such as vessels, construction and other industries. JONA® PU has been certified as conforming to the JAPANESE INDUSTRIAL STANDARD JIS K 5659:2008.

Surface material: The practiced surface should be clean, dry and free from oil and grease.

Features Good adhesion and gloss film. Durability, standing impact and abrasion well. Resistance to the influences of weather, UV and chemical. Resistance to acid and alkali, gasoline. Water-resistant. Heat-resistant up to 1000C (un-continuous).

JONA® SICO-300

JONA® SICO-300 is the heatproof paint, based on silicone resin. It is used for coating objects which have been resisted heat up to 350o C.

Surface material: The practiced surface should be clear, dry and free from oil and grease.

Features Good adhesion. Resistance to gasoline, oil, water, salt water, sea water and chemical substances. Outstanding resistance against weather. Compatible with JONES® ZINC-S. Heat-resistant up to 3500 C.

JONA® TAR (A)

JONA® TAR is the two-component epoxy finish with large solid content, curing by polyamide or polyamine Its ingredient has coal tar in order to protect the underground concrete surfaces. It is used for the underwater metal surfaces or surfaces at fluctuated water-line, interior surfaces of ballast holds, waste water cistern. JONES® TAR has been certified as conforming to the JAPANESE INDUSTRIAL STANDARD JIS K 5659:2008.

Surface material: Concrete, metal

Features Good adhesion. Stand the impact and abrasion well. Resistance to fungus and alga. Good water-resistant.

JONA® WEPO (A)

JONA® WEPO is the water based two-component epoxy. It is used for finishing concrete floor surfaces of house, storage, workshop, plant, factory, laboratory, etc.

Surface material: The practiced surface should be clean and free from the contamination of dirt, oil, wax, chalking, mildew and other chemical agents in order to ensure proper adhesion to the substrate. The jet- water can be used for cleaning after that. The prior coating (if any) has to be moved by sanded or abraded. Filling the holes and cracks on the surface and/ or leveling with JOTON® WEPO. For the new concrete (in normal conditions), practicing is only allowed after 28 days.

Features Practice and clean tools easily. Durability and fast color film. Standing impact, abrasion, chemical and the influences of weather well. Safety in application because of the used water thinner.

JONA®NC

JONA®NC is an oil-based Nitrocellulose (NC) resin based coating used for protective coatings for wood, rattan, and bamboo materials of JONA®NC specialized for interior and exterior products.

Features Does not affect the natural color of wood.

JONA®WOOD OIL

JONA®WOOD OIL is a storage oil for wood, penetrating into wood fibers without changing the color of wood. JONA®WOOD OIL is specialized for interior and exterior wood products.

JONES® AC

JONES® AC is the high quality anti-corrosive primer coating with Aluminum. It is used as the anti-corrosive primer of the boat steel surfaces which are underwater, at unstable water-line, bilge, deck, drying parts and of other construction steel surfaces. JONES® AC has been certified as conforming to the JAPANESE INDUSTRIAL STANDARD - JIS K 5639:2002.

Features High adhesion. Durable to sea water. High corrosion resistance.

JONES® CONC (A)

JONES® CONC is the two-component epoxy primer solidified by Polyamide or Amine. It is used as the primer of coating system for floor in industrial area in order to increase adhesion, resist to alkalization of the finish on concrete surfaces.

Surface material: The practiced surface should be clean. The dilute detergent or solvent should be used to remove oil and grease. For exterior surface, jet-water can be used. Filling and leveling the holes and cracks on the surface with suitable materials. The uneven surface will increase adhesion. The surface humidity is not more than 4%.

Features Good adhesion on kinds of floor coating and of concrete surface. Resistance to water, solvent and chemical.

JONES® EPO

JONES® EPO is the two-component epoxy primer solidified by Polyamide or Amine. It is compatible with most of another Chlorinated rubber, Polyurethane and Epoxy. JONES® EPO has been certified as conforming to the JAPANESE INDUSTRIAL STANDARD JIS K 5551:2008

Surface material: Bare steel: To get the best finish, the cleaning with abrasive blast should be conformed to SA 21/2, and the removing oil and grease with solvent should be conformed to SSPC-SP1. Shopprimed steel: Clean, dry and undamaged approved shopprimer. For the concrete surfaces, the wet cloths should be used for cleaning dirt and other same contaminants. The dilute detergent or solvent should be used for removing oil and grease. For exterior surfaces, jet-water can be used. Filling and leveling the holes and cracks on the surface with suitable materials. The rough surface will increase adhesion. The surface humidity is not more than 12%.
